The Broad Theater

The newest art-house theater in NOLA, and the only movie theater in Mid-City. We offer a wide variety of beers, wines, and spirits to both our theater going patrons and those who just would like to enjoy a drink after work. Our bar stays open during all showtimes and closes at 11PM. We have recently added a second bar to assist customers. This cozy bar offers a full schedule of wine, beer and cocktails but does not offer popcorn or candy. This bar is only open on the weekends but is available for private events. The Broad Theater offers parking in our surface lot for cars, and bicycle racks for our friends who like to pedal. Additional parking is available across Toulouse street in the junkyard as well as on the St. Peter side of the AutoZone parking lot across the street from the theater. Sidewalk parking is available throughout the neighborhood including directly in front of the theater. Feel free to ask our security guard for an escort to your vehicle in the evening. Want to host a birthday party, poetry reading, or private screening of your latest film? We offer all four screens for private rentals. Monday – Wednesday: 1PM – Midnight (Happy Hour from 4-6). We generally open about 30 minutes before our first film each day. Thursday – Sunday: 11AM – Midnight Open 364 Days A Year. Closed on Mardi Gras.
